Seems spam? Can this be prevented?
Can be reported, it seems: Reporting abuse or spam - GitHub Docs but I, obviously, can’t.
It sounds like you’ve encountered some unwanted spam in a GitHub discussion. While I can’t directly remove it for you, GitHub has tools to help you deal with this. To report spam or abusive content, look for the three dots (usually on the right side of the comment) and click on them. You should find an option to report the content there.
If you have more control over the repository (for example, if you’re a collaborator or the owner), you have additional options. You can turn on “discussion moderation,” which means you get to approve posts before they become visible to everyone else. You can also set up filters to automatically block certain types of content you don’t want to see. These measures can really help in keeping the discussions focused and free from spam.
