Hi everyone,
@Tamriel had the idea to add a public frontpage to Foodsoft for use as a simple homepage. This would be useful for those groups who don’t have their own website, and could also show some information to the general public, like number of active users, markup percentage, suppliers used. This page could replace the login page.
There would be a general frontpage by default, which can be edited as a wiki page.
Some questions for the community:
- Do you think this is a good idea?
- With a general frontpage, would you like to be able to turn it off (leaving just the login)? If so, should it be on or off by default?
- What would you like to show on a public frontpage?
- Is there information that you wouldn’t want to show? (E.g. names of suppliers, address of foodcoop, etc.)
Two frontpage mockups are attached (very much in progress though).
